Tesco offer 'pocket money' flowers for £2
Have you bought your Mum something for Mother's Day yet? Well get to it! You've only got a couple of days to go! If you're short of pennies and stuck for something to buy, then the Tescos £2 bunch of flowers might just be the thing for you.The point of the bunch is that kids can afford to buy it with their pocket money and it reminds me of the little flowers I'd buy my mum when I was a kid. But why stop now? After all, times are hard! Do you think we'd get away with sending her a bunch of these now? Maybe not on their own, but if you jazz up your gift with a nice bit of her favourite chocolate, and then make sure she puts her feet up for the rest of the day, you might get your Mother's Day gifts sorted for a little over a fiver.
What do you think of this? Is it a cute idea? Or should we all be splashing out on flowers for Mum? We're not completely devoid of sentiment y'know! This might even inspire us to get the glitter out and make her a card like we did when we were five. There's nothing like a homemade card to make someone smile. Now, where did we put our colouring pencils?
