WalletPoll: Would you buy fake Louboutins?

This week I've seen a few sites selling fake Christian Louboutins. But I'll be honest, I didn't think they were fake to begin with. In fact, I had to get my more fashion-conscious friend to take a look because I was mighty tempted by the iconic shoes being sold for $200. As she pointed out, if they sound too good to be true, they probably are. But, if I hadn't had told you the shoe in that picture was fake, could you tell the difference? And even if you knew, would you still buy them?

If I couldn't tell the difference, would anyone else be able to? And if no one could tell the difference, does it matter that they're not the real thing? They've got the red soles, the perfect arch and platform. They're good knock offs. And how many fashionistas do you have buzzing around your feet anyway? It's not like anyone is going to sit there and examine your footwear to make sure it's real. That'd be a mighty rude thing to do for a start. (Although fabulous shoes will draw people's attention to south of your ankle).

I'm not sure I'd buy them. There's something seedy about it. The whole point of designer clothes and accessories is that you've saved and earned them. If you're cheating, they wouldn't feel special when you wear them. Although the do still look fantastic. But it's not the real thing is it? And it't not strictly legal now is it?

So here's a little poll. Would you spend $200 on a pair of fake Louboutins, or do you think it would be a waste of money?
