Let's face it, we all like to kick back on our crystal-studded furniture and down an alcopop before settling down to watch something with Noel Edmonds in it. Well, if you happen to be Wayne Rooney or his charming bride Coleen you could live this dream every day of the year.

And thanks to a little legal difficulty Wayne and Coleen are having right now, we can all see it. The Rooneys are embroiled in a set of legal shenanigans regarding Wayne's former management company which claims Wayne is withholding £4.3 million he owes.

We have no idea about the rights and wrongs of the case, and frankly we don't care. What we care about is the fact that Wayne spends £16.50 to get his chest waxed, while Coleen plays about with diamonds "the size of chicken nuggets".

They can afford to because they earn more than £8 million between them each year.

Wayne, poster boy for Manchester United, is paid £90,000 a week by Man U. He is also paid £1.52 million each year for his image rights.

Coleen gets more than £40,000 per month for her column in OK!

Here's where it goes:

• Coleen pays her local hair salon £55 for her colouring every six weeks. From time to time she splashes out on her highlights for £88.
• Wayne has been making savings by getting his hair cut by Coleen's mum, but has been known to head to a trendy local salon for a £16.50 chest-waxing.
• Coleen has a spray tan booth in her home, but doesn't use it. She uses St Tropez bronzer powder (£16) and has a quick go on a sunbed from time to time.
• On Coleen's 18th birthday, Wayne gave the checkout girl a £25,000 Tiffany diamond.
• But that's nothing compared to the £350,000 Wayne splashed out on her wedding ring from Jacob & Co in New York. It has more than 50 diamonds and the main stone a friend said was "the size of a chicken nugget".
• Wayne has a matching one. Oh, and they spent £3,000 just sending an assistant to pick up them up.
• Their £4.5m home in Cheshire has a cinema, gym, swimming pool, hair salon and spray-tanning booth. The kitchen looks like an American diner.
• Coleen likes a bit of spaghetti Bolognese. They send out to the local Chinese from time to time. Noddy Holder lives two doors down.
• When relaxing, they like to kick back on their white leather sofa customised with Swarovski crystals at a cost of £10,000.
• For Coleen's 18th birthday party, Wayne put £10,000 behind the bar. It ended in a brawl between the guests.
