Ryanair boss deems co-pilots 'unnecessary'

I nearly spat out my tea when I read about this, but it's true - Michael O'Leary really is asking the aviation authorities for permission to have just one pilot on shorter flights. The controversial boss of budget airline Ryanair says that he believes co-pilots are unnecessary in modern jets on short-haul flights. Another one of his somewhat radical ideas to cut costs.
