Flights chaos this morning. Is your flight cancelled, and what can you do if it is?
There's a nightmare awaiting anyone planning to take a flight this morning, because ash from an Icelandic volcano is causing massive problems to flights in and out of British airports. Some airports are closed, namely Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Newcastle. Others have major disruption, including Birmingham, Gatwick, Heathrow, Liverpool, Manchester and Stansted. The ash is drifting south, so is likely to cause more problems for more southern airports as the day goes on.
At the moment there are reports that about 90% of flights are affected.
The closure has been ordered by the national air traffic control service, and forecasters say there could be disruption for days.
So what should you do if you are set to fly?

Another day, another shocker from the British Airways union, Unite. There's no longer any shock or surprise, or even much anger, just a deep sigh of disappointment in the self-inflicted demise of a once-great company.
